Lost without Life Insurance

About 20years ago, I had a man named Chuck scheduled an appointment. He came concerned about a financial plan for he and his wife. Now Chuck made a good living wage in excess of 100k per year selling paint. As is my usual practice, I had Chuck fill out a Wealth Assessment Form so that we could analyze his situation. We filled out the requisite paperwork to start his plan, and he signed it. We had taken a complete inventory of his assets and liabilities to calculate his net worth. That is his assets minus his liabilities. We promptly scheduled another appointment for a week later to begin his plan.
